Insurance Facts You May Not Know

Formal insurance coverage has been arguably there for individuals and business since the late 1800’s. For the layman, though, not everything in a homeowner, auto, property and commercial policy is what it may seem.

On a practical level, it’s important to meet with an experienced independent agent to review your needs, explain options and plans and shop the network for tailored coverage at a competitive quote, while being there at your hour of a claim need.
This article serves to present the other view on insurance – fun facts that will tickle your interest and ease the seriousness of life while perhaps offering opportunities you never thought existed.

Guess what?

• While most people realize that a good driver will have a better insurance score, leading to cheaper premium rates, certain professionals, like teachers, accountants, engineers and nurses are also placed in a ‘high probability’ category to drive carefully and avoid accidents.

• There is a form of insurance for (of all things) alien abduction!

• Some coffee company executives wanted to be sure that their official taster would retain his excellent sense of taste so they bought a $10 million policy to that effect!

• Presenting the bride with an expensive diamond engagement ring is a tradition that is based on protection. A form of insurance – so to speak – the costly ring would be hers to keep as compensation in the event the groom got cold feet about tying the knot!

• Golfing in Japan becomes an expensive endeavor if you happen to be the winner – obligating you to host a celebration and sponsoring pricey alcoholic beverages for your admirers. Golfing pros often opt to buy insurance in case they win to cover the ‘damages’.

• If you wish, you can purchase a life insurance policy if you fall into a fit of laughter that kills you!

• A famous circus insured their performing rhino and elephant so that they could cushion the damages in the event of illness or death.

• Question: Who insures traveling international athletes? Answer: They get coverage from insurance companies in their home country as well as in their hosting country.

• When one avid sportsman chose to swim across the English Channel in a bathtub, he acquired insurance from a company that undertook the risk with one stipulation: the tub needed a stopper that would prevent water from seeping in!

• If you are in the market for a new vehicle, keep in mind that statistically, there are more collision claims associated with a 2-door car.

Are You Really Sorry – How Are Your Communicating Skills?

Are you really sorry, how do you communicate? Do you really care or just pay lip-service to the words. In both our private lives and business it is how we communicate that makes all the difference.

Relationships between people and negotiations depend on win-win solutions, on empathy and seeing the other persons view. As the Hiawatha saying: you have to walk in the other mans shoes to know how they are feeling.

Cooperation between parents and children or teenagers depends on the understanding, trust and empathy of the relationship. Prisoners who meet-up with their victims and show remorse can make a new start and help their victims come to terms with their loss. “I’m sorry” two little words with big impact.

How well do you communicate with your customers or clients, maybe the delivery was late, do they feel you really care or just want their money? To build a following of loyal customers show them you care and understand their needs with your products. Always give great value, be honest, treat them as you would like to be treated. One tip to bring customers back and get referrals is to offer incredible value in your free offers, make them good enough to buy and you will gain respect and more customers eager for your offers.

Reward people well for remaining loyal over time and returning for more products. Don’t be like the giant companies that make offers for new customers at the expense of regulars, some charge unreasonable amounts and hope they won’t notice. BT is one culprit also some insurance companies, I know I’ve been caught, it isn’t until you say you will go elsewhere, they start to treat you with respect. They will learn it cost more to gain new customers than keep your existing ones happy!

There is nothing more likely to lose you customers than treating them unfairly. Customers are the life-blood of your business.

Do you already have a business or are you one of the 2,000,000,000 regularly searching Google for ways to work at home? Working online is a good way to start a business. Affiliate marketing is a simple method suitable for most people with at least basic computer skills and a determination to succeed. Begin with the guidance of a coach it will save you time and money in the long run, and it will save a lot of stress as you will be directed what to do for the best results. Products will be provided together with training so that you can start to earn commissions whilst you are learning the techniques.

Post-Natal Confinement Period: The Changing Trend

Recently, an Indian celebrity made gestation period a fascinating affair so much so that it became the talk-of-the-town. By blatantly flaunting her baby bump to adorning the most comfortable cool looks she nailed it all with panache. Another thing she brought in vogue is ‘stay not-confined’ to bed and home post-natal period that has been a part of post-pregnancy regime in majority Indian homes since ages. Right after a week she could be seen hanging out and dining out with friends and family. She’s, certainly, breaking the old practices that have been carried out in our country for various reasons and is clearly setting an example for upcoming moms.

From ancient times, the post-natal confinement period believed to be the time allotted to the new mother for complete rest and care. Post delivery the lactating moms are anemic and frail. They need holistic nutrition and vacation to recover from the loss of vital minerals from their body which they have just shared with their new-born. Another reason could be the non-stop menstruation cycle right after baby’s birth which would continue for around 40 to 45 days. This made the women more weak and fragile. So to keep her fit, hygienic and away from any infection this practice came into existence.

This was, certainly, a very calculated move as it was hard to offer solace to women in ancient Indian households. However, things have changed drastically over a period of time. The advanced and developed society has come up with numerous alternatives to make the post-natal period better, relaxing and sanitized. From nutritious supplements to sanitary disposable many things are there for women to make them feel and look better. However, no matter how advanced things may become some old school thinkers believe that a custom should be followed like a ritual, reasonable or not. While today’s generation has less faith on these old age customs which, according to them, are followed illogically.

Today’s woman is well-informed and aware about her needs, situations and conditions. She owns her right to accept or reject various norms set for her by the society eras ago. Thus, it is an app-laudable fact that a woman stood up and took her stand on whether she should stay indoors or move outside post her pregnancy, of course depending on her physical condition. It is and, should definitely be an individual choice to follow what she believes in and the society must respect her decisions without being judgmental.

Learning to Enjoy Every Minute Of Your Life

Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored. We often get so caught up with our busy lives that we tend to forget how important it is to truly live in and experience each and every moment. We live for the big and exciting things while appreciating little things at the same.

To be happy, we need have a quality life and a balance among work and friends and family. Happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy. With me, what you see is what you get. Yes, call me naive, but I love life. I am happy, and for that, I make no apologies.

Trust yourself. If you’re happy, if you’re feeling good, then nothing else matters. Don’t waste a minute not being happy. Be happy with being you. Love your flaws. Own your quirks.

We overlook the seemingly meaningless, for the something meaningful. And we live for the big things, and not for today. Do what you’ve been dreaming of doing. Enjoy every moment. And follow your heart completely. And do it all while you still have the chance.

It is common to assume the happiness of this life is more important that the happiness of future lives, but if we consider more carefully we shall see that the happiness of future lives must be more important because the happiness of this life is brief whereas future lives are many and long. We work so hard and put so much effort into securing happiness for ourselves later on this life, but it makes more sense to work as hard as we can to prepare for future lives.

If we are to respond to life’s difficulties with a positive or peaceful mind they would not be problems for us; indeed we may even come to regard them as challenges or opportunities for spiritual growth. So, despite the delusion of anger, for example, views other people as intrinsically bad, but there is no such thing as an intrinsically bad person. This shows that in itself ice cream is neither delicious nor disgusting.

That is why I am not affected with what other people say. I am happy because I am myself and my kids love me. I am very happy also especially when I see my old friends way back in high school. It’s easy to impress me. I don’t need a fancy party to be happy. Just good friends, good food, and good laughs.

I’m happy. I’m satisfied. I’m content. Life is beautiful. What about you?

I want to dedicate this article to Holy Cross of Sulop, Inc. Batch 1992. Because of you guys I forgot my problems and realized that we need to live life to the fullest by enjoying every minute of it. Love you guys!

Leftist Cable TV News Interview So-Called Experts Who Keep Saying – I Think – Before Speaking

The leftist FAKE NEWS and socialist propaganda has hit an all-time high. Their strategies so obvious now that even a low-IQ, millennium with the attention span of a gnat can see faster than a Google search which brings back 4.5 million items to your query in 0.0054183710391 seconds – don’t believe me – search Fake News and see for yourself why don’t you?

Here’s how it works. The leftist media gets together to attack President Donald Trump, blows something out of proportion, embellishes his comments, calls him a racist and then interviews semi-prominent people who wish to get on TV and asks them; Do you think Donald Trump is a racist, bigot, homophobe, Islamaphobe, sexist or liar? Then, the guest being interviewed gives us their Opinion based on their echo chamber mindset. Then the media repeats with lesser known, often obscure folks, those who happen to want their 3-minutes of fame and represent some leftist organization that sounds neutral. Then the interviewee once again states the same talking point.

Still, every time media brings on a guest interviewee, after interviewing themselves, reporters on TV, the interviewees start their sentences with; “I think” and then go on to trash Trump, and the reporters never question their comments, only agree with them in one big happy Kumbaya moment. The funny thing here is we don’t have to ask what someone “Thinks” who is from the Center for Progress of America, or the Sustainable Equality Institute for Women. We already know they hate Trump, marched against them, perhaps even broke the law somewhere rioting?

When the news media interviews someone who has a leftist bias, and they say they “Think” well that’s not saying much, because if they repeat the same old talking points, they are not thinking at all. And, to that point, no one on the left or right probably cares much about what they think. This isn’t news, newsworthy or even relevant to the reality of life on Earth. All it does is give media status and fame where it isn’t due and hasn’t been earned.

It is rather illuminating as to why the left-wing media is losing ground, profits and viewership these days. It also goes to show us why no one trusts cable TV news anymore. At best it is entertainment, and a feel-good programming to support one’s view of the world, and that is the only good thing one can say on it. Please think on this, no, really consider it all.
